Personal Details

I completed my Feldenkrais Practitioner Training in 2010 and having been a qualified Counsellor since 1997, quickly found many ways in which I could incorporate the method into my psychological practice. I also have a strong athletic background and gained qualifications through Otago Universoity and the UK Pilates Foundation and Instructor qualifications in Sun Tai chi, 200 hour Yoga and Yin Yoga. My private practice has included sub contracting to the Elite Sport Academy , NZ Bus and the Ministry of Educatioon and for the last year I have been employed as.a full time Health improvement Practitioner for a local GP Practice.. I have a very holistic approach to working with people , driven by a desire to assist people to reach their potential rather than simply recover from pain and distress. Prompted by Mosche’s interst in hypnotherapy I gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Advanced Hypnosis and am registered with the New Zealand Association of Professional Hypnotherapists as a Clinical Hynotherapist In 2020 I gained a Comprehensive Qualification in Mindful and Somatic Approaches to Trauma Therapy. And an Applied Diploma in Addictions. I am registered with DAPAANZ as an Addictions and Gambling Practitioner. I have a talent with meeting people whereever they are on the spectrum of courage, authenticity and motivation, and creating conditions of safety and and an environment condusive to learning and growth , I have a sincere passion for engaging clients in a practice of self discovery and exploration and learning strategies to transform the present’ programming’ that often perpetuate the habitual patterns of thinking , behaviour, and experience. I have particular skill in supporting people where a disruption to ease of movement may be compromised by the experience of Anxiety and Depression, Trauma and Pain. I also continue to enjoy the challenge of peoplle seeking improved performance and self mastery. I am currently operating from home via Zoom with sessions by appointment.
